Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business, educational institutes and industry to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large. It aims at promoting social and environmental sustainability. Raajdhani Engineering college from its inception is committed to the ideal of CSR. The institute makes the best possible efforts to bring about social and economic transformation of community to promote overall development and wellbeing of society. College inculcates desirable sensitivity, empathy and the virtue of social participation among all its stakeholders. The College renders community service specially to marginalised sections. REC has been working in various social domains such as creating awareness, promotion of cleanliness in slums and providing assistance to underprivileged children. Efforts are also made to create platform for socially disadvantaged to showcase their talent. The college is associated with the cause of environment conservation. Students are sensitized so that they can become ambassador of green society. The college is well aware of its larger social responsibility. It perceives formal education as an instrument of bringing about positive social transformation which leads to the amelioration of social, cultural and spiritual fabric of human community. College is committed to develop balanced personality of learners who can facilitate the forces of social, economic and environmental growth. College makes its best efforts to promote all those issues and activities which further the cause of CSR philosophy. Some of them are as under.

Contribution to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government or the State Governments for socio-economic development and relief and funds for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women

Youth Red Cross:
The Youth Red Cross Club of Raajdhani Engineering College aims to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times, all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized, alleviated and even prevented, thus contribute to creating a more congenial climate for peace. We are conducting work-shop for YRC volunteers to enlighten their knowledge in first-aid and rescue steps in emergency and organizing blood donation camps every year. We also conduct awareness programme for AIDS, Non-communicable disease like diabetes, COPD, etc.,
The Bharat Scouts & Guides:
The Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G) is the National Scouting & Guiding association of India. The Association is a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act and is a non-official organisation and is non-political, non sectarian and non-communal in character. Scouting was founded in India in 1909, whereas Guiding in India started in 1911. Scouting and Guiding is an approved type of character training & preparation for good citizenship designed for the benefit of boys and girls, which insists a sense of responsibility and trustworthiness affords to be individual opportunities for developing initiative and leadership and promotes self-control, self-reliance and self direction.
Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) :
Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) program in college combines components like building toilet, drinking facilities, inclusion of WASH in colleges, which covers basics of hand washing, personal hygiene and more. These are necessary to produce a healthy environment and to develop or support appropriate health and hygiene behaviours. The benefits go beyond the classroom: WASH contributes to the health of the future generation and thereby to the growth of the nation.
